Peer Support Network – Family Child Care

The Quality Rated Peer Support Network (PSN) was created by child care providers to share ideas, success stories, and lessons learned during the Quality Rated experience. The Peer Support Network is open to all Quality Rated programs as well as those who are in the process of earning or increasing their Quality Rated star rating.  Earn 2 ADM Training Hours

The Peer Support Network meets quarterly in multiple locations across Georgia. Topics of discussion are guided by the interests of the participants. Past topics have included staffing solutions, inclusive classroom practices, and the role of leadership in a quality program.

Meetings of the PSN are facilitated by a Quality Rated Ambassador, a representative from a 2-star or 3-star Quality Rated program. Quality Rated ambassadors are integral to the success of the PSN. They represent Quality Rated while interfacing with the community at PSN meetings. Quality Rated Ambassadors are selected by DECAL based on their proven commitment and passion for improving the lives of Georgia’s Children and Families.
Meetings are open to all child care administrators, regardless of participation in Quality Rated. Keep any eye out for email invites, as well as notices on DECAL’s various social media accounts.
